Setting up your first company
A 5-minute walkthrough of the onboarding wizard.
Last updated April 22, 2026
What you'll need
- The URL of the company you want to audit.
- A working email for the primary owner.
- A rough idea of 3–5 competitors (we'll auto-discover the rest).
The wizard, step by step
1. Name and URL
We use the URL to fetch your homepage and a sample of internal pages. If you're behind a login wall, the crawler can't see you — switch to a public landing page for the audit.
2. Category and audience
A two-sentence description is enough. The content engine uses this as the system prompt for every draft, so a sharper description here pays off everywhere downstream.
3. Competitors
Paste 3–5 competitor URLs. The discovery agent will suggest more during the first audit. You can edit the competitor list any time from Settings → Competitors.
4. Connect publishing (optional)
If you want approved drafts to ship without copy/paste, connect WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or LinkedIn here. You can also do this later — see the integration guides.
What happens next
As soon as the wizard finishes, we kick off your first audit. It runs in the background — you can leave the page. You'll get an email when the report is ready, usually within 5–10 minutes.
