Understanding your scores

The six dimensions explained, with what moves each one.

The headline score

A weighted blend of the six dimensions below, scaled to 0–100. Use it for trending, not absolute judgment — a 62 in a noisy category can outperform an 84 in a quiet one.

The six dimensions

1. Discoverability

Whether AI engines can reach and parse your content. Sitemap, robots.txt, rendering, internal linking, indexability.

What moves it: clean sitemap, no JS-only content, sensible internal links.

2. Structure

How well your content is organized for citation. Headings, schema markup, FAQ blocks, summary paragraphs.

What moves it: semantic HTML, FAQ schema, clear H2/H3 hierarchy.

3. Authority

External signals AI engines weigh. Domain age, backlinks from cited sources, brand mentions in news, expert authorship.

What moves it: earned media, expert bylines, citations from reputable sites.

4. Clarity

Whether the copy itself is citation-worthy. Concrete claims, specific numbers, plain language, defined audience.

What moves it: rewriting to be specific and concrete instead of generic.

5. Prompt presence

Whether you actually appear when AI engines answer buyer-intent prompts in your category.

What moves it: publishing on the prompts you're losing, plus content the engines actually want to cite.

6. Coverage

The breadth of buyer-intent queries you cover with at least one page each.

What moves it: generating the missing comparison, location, and service pages from your audit's recommendations.

How the score weights work

Discoverability and Prompt presence weigh slightly heavier than the rest — they're the leading indicators. We document the exact weights in the audit-engine source for anyone running an enterprise eval.
