Glossary

Every platform term defined in one place.

Last updated May 12, 2026

A

Audit. A scored snapshot of a single company at a single point in time. Combines a crawl, content analysis, and a prompt-rank test across six AI engines. See Running your first audit.

Audit cadence. How often a company's audit re-runs automatically — daily, weekly, or monthly depending on plan and override settings. See Audit cadence.

Auto-revision. Regenerating a draft from reviewer notes in one click. See Auto-revision.

C

Citation-worthy. Content structured so AI engines are willing to quote it directly. Concrete claims, schema markup, defined audiences, and explicit numbers all raise citation-worthiness.

Coverage. One of the six dimensions. Measures how many buyer-intent queries you have at least one page targeting.

Content engine. The system that generates drafts, runs compliance, and handles auto-revision. See The content engine.

Competitor. A company tracked alongside yours in the same workspace. Powers head-to-head scoring and gap analysis. See Competitive analysis.

D

Dimension score. One of the six 0–100 sub-scores: Discoverability, Structure, Authority, Clarity, Prompt presence, Coverage. See Understanding scores.

Domination. The top plan tier. Unlocks API access, daily audit cadence, white-label, and custom compliance rules. See Plans and pricing.

Draft. A piece of content in its earliest state. Lives in the workflow until approved and published. See Approval workflow.

E

Engine. An AI assistant we test against. We rotate six: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and two more. See AI visibility tests.

H

Headline score. A weighted blend of the six dimensions, scaled to 0–100. Use it for trending — not absolute comparisons across categories.

I

Impersonation. A super-admin operation that lets support agents see a workspace as a specific user. Always audit-logged. See Impersonation.

Industry pack. A bundle of prompt-mix adjustments, weight tweaks, prohibited claims, and disclaimers tailored to a regulated industry. See Industry packs.

P

Prompt rank. The position your brand appears at in an engine's response to a buyer-intent prompt. Rank 1 means primary answer; "unranked" means absent. See AI visibility tests.

Prompt presence. One of the six dimensions. Aggregates prompt ranks across engines into a single number.

R

Recommendation. A specific action surfaced by an audit, ranked by expected score lift. Recommendations seed content briefs via one-click generation.

S

Score driver. The mapping from a finding to a dimension score change. See Score drivers.

Slot. A unit of content the engine plans to ship — e.g. one comparison page or one LinkedIn post.

T

Tier. A plan level. The four tiers are Audit, Strategy, Managed, and Full Domination.

V

Visibility test. A round of prompt-rank testing across six engines. Each test sends multiple prompts, three times each, and uses modal rank.

Visibility score. Same as the headline score. The 0–100 number that summarises everything.
